Looks like that time of year again
I hope I get to see that place again
That old friend is on my mind again
I hope I get to spend some time again
It’s hard to put my finger on what this place has meant to me
But every time I’m there I feel free
Family and friends is what it’s all about
As soon as I get there I’ll give you a shout
My heart is full when I see that view ,
Just one more corner, and there’s nothing to do ,
I hope it means to you, what it’s always meant to me.
cuz every time we’re there , I feel free
Some folks will get it, some folks won’t
Memories are made , day after day
Just listening to the water slapping , the bottom of the boat
Sitting here with you tonight
Just some words from my heart
My mind is quiet now , what a great start
Looks like that time of year again
I hope I get to see that place again
“WALKING IN THE SAND” Written By Jeff Lohan 2014
I’m walking in the sand,
holding her hand,
Watching the sun go down
On our way out of town
It’s almost seven
and it feels like heaven
Hoping this night will never end
I’m holding her hand
It started just after dawn
When I saw her walking along
With no one by her side
Something felt so right
I found a way to get close
Passing by the pancake house
When I asked her for the time
She said she didn’t know
And asked where I had to go
I said I had been waiting
To meet a girl
She just looked at me and smiled
I’m walking in the sand
Holding her hand
Watching the sun go down
On our way out of town
It’s half past seven
and it feels like heaven
Hoping this night will never end
I’m holding her hand
We went out to lunch
told each other stories and laughed a lot
Then we were walking along
On a crowded boardwalk
But we felt all alone
I don’t how, It could get much better this
Then walking with her by my side
Into the night…..
I’m walking in the sand
I’m Holding her hand
Watching the sun go down
On our way out of town
It’s an hour past seven
And it feels like heaven
I’m hoping this night will never end
I’m holding her hand
Looks like it’s the first best day I ever had
I’m holing her hand
I’m walking in the sand
I’m holding her hand
“BEST INTENTIONS” Written By Jeff Lohan & William Aronson 2013
As I sit here, thinking about us together
Looking at pictures of memories that last forever
I wonder if I’m leaving enough of me for you
There’s something else I always wanted to do
I should have written you a letter,
I should have written you a song.
To say how much I love you
And how you just turn me on
How my life is better
I should have written you a letter
The picture of a sunset reflecting in your eyes
How great you look, under a moonlit sky
How I feel when I wake up next to you
From the first time that I saw you I knew
I should have written you a letter,
I should have written you a song.
To say how much I love you
And how you just turn me on
How my life is better
I should have written you a letter
For every Letter that I never sent you
I had the Best Intentions, you know I meant to
For every sentiment I never shared
I’ve always been right here, to share how much I care
I should have written you a letter,
I should have written you a song.
To say how much I love you
And how you just turn me on
How my life is better
I should have written you a letter
I should have written you a letter
I should have written you a letter
As I think of us together
“ALL I WANT TO DO” Written By Jeff Lohan 2013
Looking at those mountains
and listening to the lake
I’ve got a line in the water
it seems the fish are taking a break
I could just sit here
all day and all night
Looking at that same old view
it’s all I want to do.
I’m looking at those mountains
and listening to the lake
There’s laughter on the water
another summers taking place
Underneath a big blue sky
with nothing much to do
Sitting here with you
it’s all I want to do.
You wouldn’t believe who I spoke with today
Could it have been that long, I just can’t say
Seems like just yesterday they were standing right here
Thinking about their memories always brings a tear
Snow on the mountains
and ice on the lake
Another year is moving on
and passing by this place
As the days start to get longer
I’m thinking about next year
Looking at that same old view
it never gets old, it’s all I want to do
Looking at that same old view, it’s all I want to do.
“FOUND YOU IN A LETTER” Written By Jeff Lohan 2013
It seems like yesterday
Feels like forever
I was holding your hand
And you were holding mine.
I started moving on
Living day by day
While picking up the pieces
I found you yesterday
I found you in a letter
One you never sent
You told me that you loved me
And how much that I meant
How’d you know I’d find it
Is this the first one that you left?
You know that I’d feel better
I hope I find the rest
I found you in a letter
One you never sent
You told me that you loved me
And how much that I meant.
To hold you in this letter
It’s like you whispered in my ear
It felt just like you held me
And wiped away my tears.
I found you in a letter
One you never sent
You told me that you loved me
And how much that I meant
“SINCE 1946” Written By Jeff Lohan & Tim Lohan 2013
I wish I could go back to the lake
Breathe in the view with my eyes and ears
Have a scotch with an old memory
Or maybe just a beer
So many summers of memories
Take me back everyday
They never leave much room
For what happenin’ any other day
Since 1946
We still visit ‘cause we need a fix
Every summer off of route 22
We get away
for a little while
Fishing with Grandpa,
or swimming from the dock
Such great days,
everyone off the clock
As the generations have moved on
the new ones start and watch from the fray
The crazy things we all talked about
Before long they can’t forget the day
Since 1946
We still visit ‘cause we need a fix
Every summer off of route 22
We get away
for a little while
It’s almost summer and I can’t wait
In 300 miles we’ll be sitting at the lake
Passing down the memories,
seems so easy to do
Just show up, and wet your feet
And forget about what makes you blue
My brother asked me to write this
I’m sure glad he bent my ear
I think I’ll have a scotch with an old memory or maybe just a beer
Since 1946
We still visit cause we need a fix
Every summer off of route 22
We get away
for a little while
for a little while
I wish I could go back to the lake
For a little while…
“IT WAS 1933” Written By Jeff Lohan & Walter J. Langer (my Grandfather) 2013/1933
“Two hearts of gold outlined on this page,
I’m sure will go thru life with signs of age,
Although they are outlined in black on green,
Here hoping they’ll never go thru life without a dream.”
Your Husband to be.
That’s how they started their lives together
Working on things that would last forever,
They built their lives around each other and as they got old,
Were surrounded by something worth much more then gold.
“Two hearts of gold outlined on this page,
I’m sure will go thru life with signs of age,
Although they are outlined in black on green,
Here hoping they’ll never go thru life without a dream.”
Your Husband
That’s how they shared their lives together,
When Adelaide passed, these hearts had shown signs of age,
Now they lived in Walters’s heart; until they’d meet again.
I realized what they had found, and hoped to pass this down.
“Two hearts of gold outlined on this page,
I’m sure will go thru life with signs of age,
Although they are outlined in black on green,
Here hoping they’ll never go thru life without a dream.”
Your Husband always
That’s how they lived their lives together…
Now I’ve got children of my own
I try to pass on the things I’ve known
I only hope they see what I have seen
So they don’t go thru life without a dream
“Two hearts of gold outlined on this page,
I’m sure will go thru life with signs of age,
Although they are outlined in black on green,
Here hoping they’ll never go thru life without a dream.”
I know Walter and Adelaide found their “Happy Dream”
And they Helped me find mine…..
It all started with a letter….
Dear Adelaide,
“Two hearts of gold outlined on this page,
I’m sure will go thru life with signs of age,
Although they are outlined in black on green,
Here hoping they’ll never go thru life without a Happy Dream.”

“SO MANY DAYS” Written By Jeff Lohan 2014
First there was that day in September
when I saw you from across the room.
Then there was that day in December
you needed a ride rescued you
Then there was that day in June,
When you called me and I answered
Then there was that day,
2 days later I picked you up after work
So many days to remember
Like the first time that I saw you
So many days to remember
I want to remember, and reminisce with you
Then there was day, 2 weeks later,
when I called you for the first time
Then there was that day we walked in the sand,
I think it was the best day I ever had.
So many days to remember
Like the first time we walked in the sand
So many days to remember
I want to remember; and reminisce with you some more
Then there was the day in early November
when I bought you your the ring
Then there was that day in late November
when everything seemed to be going wrong
but you said yes, I could believe it you said Yes in a storm
So many days to remember
Like that day that you said Yes
So many days to remember
I want to remember; and reminisce with you some more
Then there was that day in April,
when I stood there next to you
Later that day in April,
when you & I said I Do
So many days to remember
Like the day you & I said I Do
So many days to remember
I want to remember; and reminisce with you
First there was that day in September
when I saw you from across the room
Then there was that day in April
when you & I said I Do
“ANOTHER DAY” Written By Jeff Lohan 2015
Another day, another week
Another day, of loving you.
Another day, another week
Another day knowing you love me too
I don’t know what I’d do without you
Every day knowing you’re there
All the little things you do
You seem to do so naturally
Another day, another week,
Another day, wanting to hold your hand
Another day. Another week,
Another day, waking up next to you
I don’t know what I’d do without you
Every day knowing you’re there
All the little things you do
You seem to do so naturally
It feels like it was only yesterday
As I sit here looking at you
I see the same smile,
The same look in your eyes
That you had the first time that I saw you
Another day, another week
Another day, of loving you.

“Sometime I Wonder” By Jeff Lohan 2017
Sometimes I Wonder, Who’d I be without you Sometimes I Wonder, Where would I be without you What would I do if I didn’t know you ?
The sky would still be blue The trees would still be green Roses would still be red Would it all feel the same With out you here by side Without you, everyday and night
You’re always jokin’, That I’d be lost without you You’re always sayin’, That I couldn’t make it without you I’d be a different man, Without you Nothing would feel the same, Without you
The sky would still be blue The trees would still be green Roses would still be red But it wouldn’t feel the same, With out you, Here be my side, Without you, every day and night
I’m so glad, that you found me Did I ever tell you, I’m so happy that you found me
Sometimes I Wonder Sometimes I Wonder
